    TMK and Rosneft Agree to Supply Steel Products for the Vostok Oil Project

    Vostok Oil LLC (a company of the PJSC NK Rosneft Group) and Sinarastroykomplekt LLC (a subsidiary of Sinara Group JSC), within the framework of the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, signed an Agreement on the supply of metallurgical products and the provision of related services for the implementation of the project ” East Oil “.

    The signed agreement will ensure uninterrupted integrated supply of metal products, primarily tubular products manufactured by the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK), metal structures, a tank farm, auxiliary metal-consuming elements for timely construction and installation work at the Vostok Oil project.

    In 2020, Rosneft began full-scale development of fields in the Taimyr Peninsula. Vostok Oil will help develop the region’s unique resource potential. The implementation of the project will ensure the fulfillment of the tasks set by the President of Russia to increase cargo traffic along the Northern Sea Route.

    Within the framework of the project, it is planned to drill a large fund of wells, build power generation facilities with a capacity of about 3.5 GW, three airfields, two sea terminals, 15 industrial towns, a large-scale renovation of the Yenisei river infrastructure. To ship raw materials to tankers, Rosneft is building an oil loading terminal, Port Bukhta Sever.
