    Tatneft: Figures Demonstrating Operation Results in June and for Six Months of 2020

    Crude Oil Production

    Enterprises of the TATNEFT Group of Companies produced 1,960 thousand tonnes of crude oil in June 2020 with the production volume from the beginning of the year amounting to 13,260 thousand tonnes, which was 1,559.2 thousand tonnes less than during the same period in 2019.

    PJSC TATNEFT’s production volume amounted to 1,934 thousand tonnes of crude oil in June with the Company’s production from the beginning of the year amounting 13,097 thousand tonnes (-2,1 thousand tonnes versus June 2019).

    The Company’s production from the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 25 thousand tonnes in June and 162.4 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year (+0.5 thousand tonnes versus a similar production volume in 2019).

    The production volume of the high-viscosity oil amounted to 273.3 thousand tonnes in June and 1,604.3 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year, which was 372.5 thousand tonnes more, than the production volume for the relevant period in 2019.

    New Drilling

    309 new wells were built and delivered to the customers in June (282 wells in six months of 2019), including drilling of 274 production wells with the exploration drilling accounting for 6 wells and 29 wells drilled to bitumen deposits.

    Active Well Stock Drilling

    12 wells were delivered to the customers in the category of sidetracks and horizontal wellbore drilling in six months of 2020.

    Drilling of Wells Outside the Republic of Tatarstan

    As of today, there were two wells drilled for OOO Tatneft-Samara Company in the Samara Region: production well No. 347 and exploratory well No.302, while the works are at the completion stage at the exploratory well No. 33.

    The well construction is underway in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Drilling operations are in progress at well No. 5r of the Tibeyvisski field.

    Repair of Wells

    The remedial well servicing and workover crews performed basic well servicing in 4,609 wells at the sites of PJSC TATNEFT in six months (906 wells in June of 2020), while the workover operations were performed at 994 wells (139 wells in June).

    Formation hydrocracking operations were performed 775 wells (38 wells in June).

    Crude oil recovery enhancement operations were performed in 755 wells (38 wells in June).

    Production Performance of JSC TANECO

    The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 836.2 thousand tonnes of raw stock in In June and with the volume processed from the beginning of the year amounting to 6,232.7 thousand tonnes; the volume of petroleum feedstock processed in June amounted to 733.1 thousand tonnes and 5,892.3 thousand tonnes processed since the beginning of the year.

    The TANECO Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants and Complex yielded 787.5 thousand tonnes of petroleum products in June 2020, while the yield from the beginning of the year amounted to 5,927.6 thousand tonnes, including motor gasoline brands production amounting to 101.06 thousand tonnes in June (614.3 thousand  tonnes  from the beginning of the year), and diesel fuel production in the amount of 275.5 thousand tonnes (1,775.96 thousand tonnes from the beginning of the year).
