Gazprom Neft, Together with Partners, will Create the First Russian Complex of Equipment for Hydraulic Fracturing

Gazprom Neft, together with partners, will develop the first Russian equipment for hydraulic fracturing (hydraulic fracturing) * – the main technology for increasing the production of hard-to-recover oil reserves. Vadim Yakovlev, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Neft Management Committee, Yuri Solomonov, General Designer of Moscow Institute of Heat Engineering Corporation, and Andrey Efremov, General Director of JV MeKaMineft, CJSC, signed a cooperation agreement at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov.

The modern Russian hydraulic fracturing fleet will include special vehicles for transporting the complex, installations for pumping reagents into wells, mobile control and monitoring stations for collecting and analyzing data, field laboratories and other equipment. Based on the results of testing the first complexes, it is planned to create a serial model of the hydraulic fracturing fleet.

The manufacturer of the Russian complex for hydraulic fracturing will be JSC “Corporation” Moscow Institute of Heat Engineering “. Field tests of the new equipment will be carried out by CJSC JV MeKaMineft at Gazprom Neft facilities in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra.

“Involving new reserves of difficult oil in the development is a strategic task not only for Gazprom Neft, but for the entire Russian oil industry. It is solved, first of all, through the use of modern enhanced oil recovery technologies, the main of which is hydraulic fracturing. The creation of the first domestic full-size hydraulic fracturing complex will allow diversifying both the market of service companies and the market of components, increasing competition, quality and efficiency of the services provided. This is a project of federal significance, the implementation of which will not only strengthen the positions of Russian companies in the global market, but will also become an additional incentive for the development of related industries. “

“The development and creation of a hydraulic fracturing fleet is a complex scientific, technical and production task. Its solution logically follows from the potential capabilities of MIT Corporation JSC, which has the necessary experience. The creation of a fleet by Russian enterprises is relevant not only from the standpoint of diversifying their activities, but also from the standpoint of import substitution. “
Yuri Solomonov General Designer of JSC “Corporation” Moscow Institute of Heat Engineering “
“The increase in the share of the national product is not only the process of creating Russian technologies and industries, but also the process of localizing industrial developments in the territory of the Russian Federation, their successful testing and further application. Within the framework of the program of import substitution and reduction of technological dependence on foreign producers in the oil and gas sector, in order to increase the production of domestic oil and gas engineering, CJSC JV MeKaMineft demonstrates the development of its potential for the production of competitive equipment for hydraulic fracturing and well completion for use not only in the Russian Federation but also promotion to the international market. Domestic products can not only completely replace imported counterparts, but also compete with them. CJSC JV MeKaMineft,
