Gazprom Neft: Opens a Production Control Center in Muravlenko

Gazprom Neft has opened a Production Control Center (MCC) in Muravlenko. The new MCC forms a single physical and information space for the most efficient implementation of the potential of Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz assets.

The main task of the new division is the operational and systemic management of the operational activities of the entire enterprise. More than 1,900 well pads and 80 facilities for the preparation and transportation of hydrocarbons on an area of more than 47 thousand square meters are connected to modern analytical tools, forecasting situations and automation. km.

Based on the common physical and information space of the MCC, a new format of cross-functional interaction of specialists from various services of Noyabrskneftegaz involved in the production, preparation and transportation of hydrocarbons is being built. The digital solutions used allow continuous online monitoring of all stages of the hydrocarbon production process. Advanced IT tools using Industry 4.0 technologies ensure increased production efficiency by identifying and predicting anomalies in the well stock, as well as managing energy resources and equipment operation modes. Along with this, the tasks of the Center include an automated search for optimal geological and technical measures for the given parameters.

“The operating well stock at mature fields of Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz totals about 4 thousand wells. This figure holds great potential for increasing economic efficiency. The creation of regional control centers for key production processes – drilling, production – gives the company more opportunities, brings it to a new level of technological development and contributes to the optimization of operating activities. In particular, the effect of the work of the new Center in Muravlenko in the next two years is estimated at 350 million rubles.

The Asset of the Future program is an integrated approach to the organizational and digital transformation of the business model of the Gazprom Neft exploration and production unit at all management levels – from the production department to the corporate center. The objective of the program is to improve business processes, manufacturability and development of a modern digital tool base to increase the efficiency of the unit and achieve the company’s strategic goal: to become an industry benchmark in terms of operational indicators by increasing labor productivity and reducing production costs.

The Drilling Control Center (DRC) in Muravlenko was opened by Gazprom Neft in the fall of 2020. The main task is to provide complete engineering, technological and geological support for well construction at the Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz fields in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, which will reduce the construction time by 15%.
