    Digital Technologies Increase the Efficiency of Gazprom Neft’s Production in the Orenburg Region

    Gazpromneft-Orenburg has launched a digital twin of the Eastern section of the Orenburgskoye field, combining reservoir models and production infrastructure of the field. The economic effect of the project will amount to 3.3 billion rubles. until 2030.

    The integrated digital twin includes reservoir, well stock and surface infrastructure models. The innovative system increases the efficiency and safety of production and promptly predicts the parameters of equipment operation, predicting possible deviations and suggesting optimal modes of its loading.

    The digital twin is the main element of the Production Control Center (MCC) of Gazpromneft-Orenburg. Today, the system accompanies the operation of over 600 wells around the clock in the Eastern section of the Orenburgskoye field. In the future, along with production, the MCC will also control the collection and treatment of oil. This will make it possible to achieve maximum efficiency along the entire production chain in the development of the Eastern section of the Orenburg field, the largest oil-producing asset in the region. The additional cumulative production of the enterprise will exceed 800 thousand tons of oil and 1.3 billion cubic meters of gas. In the future, digital twins will be created for all Gazprom Neft fields in the Orenburg Region.
