As the world faces the ongoing pandemic and travel restrictions remain in place, the organizers of the RDCR – Well Engineering Forum, Russia’s largest annual gathering for the Russian drilling and production sector, have officially postponed the 2021 event until 2022. Many of the regional and Moscow based operators are banned from attending events or traveling into Moscow to help fight the pandemic and to protect their staff. In light of these understandable restrictions, TMG Worldwide, have regrettably decided to delay the event to 2022 when, pandemic permitting, we can return to our highly successful in person event format.
The 2020 RDCR was held virtually, for the first time, in conjunction with the KDR event for Kazakhstan. The fully interactive on-line format has received excellent feedback from the 580 strong audience, despite there being some minor technical challenges with hosting 40+ speaking presentations with sim translations.
For the 2022 RDCR, the organizers are aiming to organize a physical event in Moscow in the third quarter, conditions permitting. This will ensure that the Russian drilling and production sector can once again meet under one roof, for the region’s most important annual upstream gathering.
The RDCR 2022 will be the “Back to Business” platform for the Russian Drilling and Production sector, gathering the leading operators, contractors, service, and technology suppliers, for an outstanding day of technical presentations and high-level networking.
